Ben Cheetham is an RTS winning and BAFTA nominated director whose passion and motivation as a filmmaker come from the belief that documentary films can change real life situations. His recent credits include directing, producing and filming the RTS winning “The Real Hack” for ITV and the BAFTA nominated “Pete, Doherty, Who Killed My Son?” for Channel 4. His other credits include directing Episode 2 of the RTS nominated and Grierson shortlisted Tribe with Bruce Parry for BBC2, producing the Grierson shortlisted "Imposter: The Man Who Came Back from the Dead" for Channel 4 and directing the short film "Inside a Marriage" which was highly commended at the Grierson Awards and nominated for an RTS award. Ben won Channel 4’s First Cut Pitch at Sheffield Doc Fest in 2022 and the TV Foundation's Debut Director Award in 2024.
